With Kanye West‘s wild antics as of late, it’s easy to forget he actually makes music.

Kim Kardashian‘s husband appears on Travis Scott’s new song “Watch,” and as usual, his lyrics are buzzy. (Kylie Jenner also makes a cameo on her baby daddy’s song, but if you’re not listening closely, you might miss it.)

“Wanna know how I feel? Step into my minefield/ Wanna know how pain feels? I got off my main pills,” West raps. “Bet my wifey stay close, she know I’m on my Bezos/ Opioid addiction, pharmacy’s the real trap/ Sometimes I feel trapped, Jordan with no Phil Jack.”

This week, West, 40, opened up about battling opioid addiction before his 2016 breakdown. He also admitted doctors prescribed him a handful of other medications after his hospitalization but didn’t specify what the pills were for.

“Two days before I was in the hospital I was on opioids. I was addicted to opioids,” West shouted during his controversial appearance on TMZ Live. “I had plastic surgery because I was trying to look good for y’all. I got liposuction because I didn’t want y’all to call me fat like y’all called Rob [Kardashian] at the wedding and made him fly home before me and Kim got married. I didn’t want y’all to call me fat, so I got liposuction.”

West was put on a psychiatric hold, the Associated Press reported at the time, after he abruptly canceled his “Life of Pablo” tour in November 2016.

“I was taking two pills a day at that time. When I left the hospital how many pills do you think I was given? Seven,” West exclaimed. “I went from taking two pills to taking seven. … These pills that they want me to take three of a day, I take one a week, maybe, two a week. Y’all had me scared of myself, of my vision, so I took some pills so I wouldn’t go to the hospital and prove everyone right.”

The rapper hasn’t discussed what — if anything — he was diagnosed with, causing him to be prescribed multiple medications. However, reports claim he hasn’t been taking the pills and that this led to rants like Tuesday’s, when he declared slavery was a “choice.”

“He’s refused to take his meds, and that’s where he’s been, for the last couple of weeks leading into last week, so almost a month now that it’s been,” a source claims to People. “It’s sad.”

Kim hasn’t publicly reacted to her husband’s controversial remarks about slavery. A source told Yahoo Entertainment that behind closed doors she was concerned but will stand publicly united with her husband. Last week, she denounced the media for publicly speculating on West’s health.

As you heard from ’Ye, his “wifey” is clearly supportive. Then again, this verse was likely put together before everything that happened this week.
