Kansas woman indicted for death threats against Biden and Clinton

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The United States Attorney’s Office District of Kansas reported a federal grand jury in Wichita returned an indictment, charging a woman with making threats to former nationally elected officials and current nationally elected officials on Wednesday morning.

Lori Davis, a 40-year-old woman from Park City, Kansas was charged with one count of threats against a former president of the United States, and one count of threats against the president of the United States, according to court documents.

A news release said, Davis was accused of calling the Clinton Foundation in New York and leaving threatening messages that threatened to kill the former president in September 2021.

Davis was also accused of posting murder threats multiple times on social media directed at President Biden in 2024, the release said.

The U.S. Secret Service is still investigating, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Lanny Welch is prosecuting the case.
