Juventus vs Sassuolo – Serie A preview: What times does it start, where can I watch it and what are the odds?

Juventus look to continue their winning start to the new campaign with the visit of Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon.

Despite a few scares already this season, the Old Lady come back into this round of fixtures following the international break with a 100 per cent record having won three in three in defence of their most recent Scudetto.

The headline news remains that Cristiano Ronaldo is still yet to score in black and white but, with a game against a Sassuolo side that conceded seven in their last visit to the Allianz stadium, this tie could be the antidote for the Portuguese’s relative goal drought.

Sassuolo themselves come into this game undefeated in their opening three Serie A games having notched up an impressive eight goals along the way.

Boosted by the signing of former AC Milan forward Kevin-Prince Boateng in the summer, the Modenese based club will have their eyes on an upset with an attempt to rectify a poor record against Massimiliano Allegri’s men of recent years.

What time does it start?

Juventus vs Sassuolo kicks off at 2pm BST.

Where can I watch it?

The match will be shown live on Eleven Sports 2 from 2pm BST.

It’s a big game for…

Cristiano Ronaldo: Ronaldo is yet to find the net in his first three appearances for the Old Lady despite his imperious goal record at club level. Given the standard the Portuguese superstar has set himself across his career, the pressure has started to mount on the former Manchester United man's shoulders with much attention on him following his club record move from Real Madrid in the summer.

With this in mind, Ronaldo will want to get off the mark sooner rather than later particularly with the start to the Champions League just round the corner.

Best stat…

8: Juventus have won 8 of their last 10 games played against Sassuolo emphasising their superior record over their opponents.

Remember when…

Dybala scores a stunning goal for Juventus against Sassuolo in a game in which he scores a hatrick for the Old Lady. Can the Argentine repeat the feet when the two teams meet again on Sunday?

Player to watch…

Domenico Berardi: Recently linked with some of the biggest clubs in the world, Domenico Beradi’s stock continues to rise after an impressive start to the season with the Modenese based club.

Having only just returned from duty with the Italy squad, the Cariari born forward has it all with pace and trickery off the right flank and a finishing touch to match with 4 goals in 4 games in all competitions.

If the Old Lady is to unexpectedly topple this Sunday, then this man is more than likely to have had a hand in it.
