Juvenile charged after allegedly firing gun at by-standers
Owensboro police has charged a juvenile after he allegedly fired a gun Monday night in the direction of people.
According to the OPD report, officers responded around 8:30 p.m. to the 2900 block of Strawbridge Place. The investigation led officers to a nearby residence where a male juvenile suspect was detained.
According to the report, detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division determined that the juvenile suspect shot at by-standers multiple times, and struck an unoccupied vehicle.
The juvenile was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and second-degree criminal mischief.
He was transported to Warren County Juvenile Detention Center.
