Justin Timberlake professes his love for Tom Brady - but won't say he's rooting for Patriots

Performer Justin Timberlake, who is the headliner for the Super Bowl LII halftime show, told media on Thursday about his love for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Which is good, because on Monday night, Brady had included Timberlake on his short list of man-crushes, with his teammates Danny Amendola, Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski.

“I actually texted Tom before the AFC championship game and said, ‘I’m going to the Super Bowl – are you going to the Super Bowl?’ just to get him fired up,” Timberlake said. “We haven’t really – obviously schedules get in the way of ‘bro time’ as you’re referring to, but Tom’s great. He’s the greatest of all time, officially, and yeah, Tom’s definitely the type of dude you’d invite over to watch the Super Bowl with you, the problem is, he’s always in the Super Bowl.”

Timberlake, who sports a close-cropped cut, also expressed his admiration for Brady’s hair – “he has great hair. I mean, great hair. Don’t you agree?,” he asked the crowd.

And when asked if Brady is also among his man-crushes, Timberlake said, “I’d say he’s on my list. The feeling is reciprocated, if you want to make this official.”

Despite his love for Brady, Timberlake wouldn’t cop to rooting for the Patriots in the Super Bowl, noting that he’s going to have a tour date in Philadelphia too.

Instead, he said, “Go Pack Go!”
