Nokia’s flagship Lumia 1020 has been on the market for just two weeks and the phone’s price has already been slashed by leading smartphone retailer Amazon. The new 41-megapixel Lumia 1020 launched on July 26th and while we found it to be the most impressive Windows Phone to date when we reviewed the Lumia 1020 last month, the phone’s $300 price tag was troubling. This past weekend, just two weeks after the phone debuted, the Lumia 1020′s price was cut by Amazon from $299.99 to $249.99 on contract. The Lumia 1020 features a 4.5-inch AMOLED display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 32GB of storage, 2GB of RAM and Nokia’s 41-megapixel PureView camera. At the time of this writing, the handset was ranked at No.13 on the list of Amazon’s best-selling contract phones, behind older devices like the Samsung Galaxy SIII, the Galaxy Note II and Nokia’s own Lumia 928.
