Jury returns guilty verdict

May 2—The jury in the murder trial of Samuel Baker has found him guilty of the shooting death of Robert Claunch.

He was also found guilty of first-degree Burglary in the case.

The jury took around two hours for deliberation. They have returned to the jury room to begin the penalty phase.

Baker, 25, is facing 20 years to life in prison.
