NEW YORK (AP) — A federal jury has resumed deliberations in the case of a suspended New York City police officer accused of plotting to kill and cannibalize women.
Jurors returned to work Friday after deliberating for a little more than an hour Thursday.
Twenty-eight-year-old Officer Gilberto Valle (VAL'-ee) is charged with conspiracy to kidnap.
He is also charged with using a national database to learn personal information about potential targets. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
