Juror Appreciation Week to be celebrated May 13-17

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County Superior Court will join in celebrating Juror Appreciation Week from May 13-17.

“Jury Services appreciates our jurors the whole year round,” Jury Services Coordinator Daniel Tapia said in a news release. “We greet them with a smile every day. During this special week, we also greet them with a special token of our appreciation. Their support of our justice system is what makes the process successful.”

Those chosen for jury duty are randomly selected through information from the Department of Motor Vehicles, voter registration and the Franchise Tax Board. For more information on jury service, click here.
