Jurgen Klopp Laughs In Reporter's Face During Furious Post-Match Interview

From Esquire UK

Liverpool looked set for victory in the Merseyside derby yesterday, until Dejan Lovren decided to give away a baffling penalty in the 76th minute.

Rooney converted the spot-kick, and manager Jurgen Klopp was left raging on the sidelines as the game ended in a draw.

While the general consensus is that Lovren clearly pushed Calvert-Lewin as he was running away from goal, the Liverpool boss stepped into his post-match interview adamant that the wrong decision had been made.

He asked Sky Sports' Patrick Davison what he thought of the challenge. After he said that it was a "soft" but correct decision, Klopp laughed derisively in his face and said: "We can stop the interview because I only want to speak to people who have a little bit of an understanding of football," Klopp said.

"I am sorry. I am wrong. You are all right," he said, before going on with the uncomfortable interview.
