Marissa Morrison, KIVI-Boise reporter and weather caster, talks Gonzaga basketball, pet rabbits, Leonardo DiCaprio and what robots want with reporting jobs. The daughter of a mortician and a nurse, Marissa was born and raised in "The Smile Capital of the World," Pocatello, Idaho. After graduating from Highland High School, she ventured to Spokane, Washington to attend Gonzaga University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in Broadcasting & Electronic Media Studies. Marissa joined the Boise News scene as a 6-On-Your-Side reporter and weekend weathercaster, specializing in Idaho Politics and Boise Weather. When she's not reporting or putting together a Boise Idaho Weather Forecast, she relaxes by reading and watching college basketball.
