Junior League of Kalamazoo granting $10K to nonprofits

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — The Junior League of Kalamazoo is giving away $10,000 in grants to area nonprofits.

The grant funds will be awarded to nonprofits that support the health, wellness or education of women and children. The money can be used in a wide range of ways, including programming, resources and initiatives.

“We know that there are incredible organizations in our community doing amazing work to support women and children,” Lyndi Smith, the organization’s community impact manager, said in a release. “Through these grants, we hope to provide additional resources and support to help them expand their reach and make an even greater impact.”

The application process will involve a review of the nonprofit goals, impact and alignment with the organization’s mission.
