Junction City 6th Street bridge reopens

JUNCTION CITY (KSNT) – A bridge that was closed for a Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) project in Junction City was reopened on Friday.

The Sixth Street bridge repair project was started in September 2022 to remove and replace the existing bridge on US-40b. The project was expected to be completed by June 2024. Junction City Manager Allen Dinkel told 27 News the bridge was reopened on Friday, May 10.
