Julie Chen Makes Defiant Sign-Off to Close Out 'Big Brother' Following Husband Les Moonves' Exit From CBS

Julie Chen made quite a statement as she returned to TV for the first time since her husband, Les Moonves, resigned as head of CBS amid allegations of sexual assault and harassment.

Chen signed off on Thursday night's "Big Brother" broadcast using her husband's last name, something she's never done before.

“I’m Julie Chen Moonves,” she said.

On the show, Chen never referenced the scandal, but her goodbye had everyone talking.

After her bombshell sign off, "Big Brother" fans flocked to Twitter.

“That was insulting to his victims," read one tweet. "Go and stay gone Julie."

“How disgusting and how sad,” another Twitter user posted.

Others were more supportive.

"Julie is so amazing," one fan posted on social media. "We love you so much."

Chen has yet to return to her hosting job on "The Talk." The network has not yet said when she will, if at all.

Les Moonves has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct.
