Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich Take Their Picture-Perfect Honeymoon to Kenya for a Safari Adventure
Who says honeymoons have to be contained? Following their relaxing and luxurious time in the Seychelles, newlyweds Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich decided to take the adventurous route with a safari in Kenya for the second leg of their epic and Instagram-worthy honeymoon.
The pair memorably started their extended journey at the upscale Fregate Island Private located in the easternmost part of the Seychelles. This weekend, they traveled to nearby Kenya, where they’re now reveling in the offerings of the African savannah. “Part 1 of honeymoon: Relaxation,” Hough teased on Instagram, alongside a scenic oceanfront photo with NHL player Laich. “Part 2 of honeymoon: Adventure here we come……”
The pair resurfaced this weekend at the famed Masai Mara Reserve in Kenya, where they swapped their swimsuits and trunks for khakis and boots. “No words,” Laich captioned one breathtaking photo of the couple observing an elephant in the wild from a distance.

He followed up on Tuesday, July 25, with another aesthetic shot. “Breakfast in the Savannah….” Laich wrote, while his wife added: “Jambo Savannah, it’s gonna be a good day!”
Hough and her husband married on July 8 in Northern Idaho, and the spouses have been far from secretive about their honeymoon activities. The Dancing With the Stars judge posted numerous bikini photos from the archipelago, while her husband advised his followers to get their fitness routine in—regardless of the circumstances.

Hough’s birthday overlapped with their honeymoon, resulting in an extra special celebration from a pristine destination. “First of all, I can’t thank you all enough for the incredible love you have given my husband @brookslaich and I. We definitely feel it all the way out here in the Indian Ocean!” Hough expressed this weekend. “Second, to be able to celebrate my birthday in the honeymoon bubble of love has been incredible, and you all are the most thoughtful people in the world to come up with posts and collages that I know take time.
