Joyce Bernal finds replacement for Daniel Padilla
26 Jul – Filmmaker Joyce Bernal recently revealed that she has already found the replacement for Daniel Padilla, who had to withdraw from her upcoming movie about Marawi, "Children of the Lake".
As reported on PEP, the producer, who spoke to the media at the story conference of the said movie held at the Cornerstone office shared that the production could not wait for the young star, who is also filming another movie that will be releasing in August.
It is noted that Padilla previously revealed that he is working with onscreen partner Kathryn Bernardo in the new movie, "The Hows of Us".
She stated that since they are filming on Ground Zero, there are a lot of things to be considered, especially since there is still an ongoing war in the south.
As for Padilla's replacement, Bernal revealed that actor Marc Felix has already auditioned and will be playing the role instead.
The upcoming film will be helmed by Sheron Dayoc, who previously directed the 2016 movie, "Women of the Weeping River".
It co-stars Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Piolo Pascual, and Robin Padilla.
