Joy World Wealth Partners opens in Scranton

Sep. 6—Megan Alpert strives to use a wealth of experience to help clients achieve financial independence.

Alpert launched Joy World Wealth Partners, 125 N. Washington Ave., Scranton, on July 7. A grand opening is set for Sept. 15 from 3 to 7 p.m.

The business advises clients on financial planning, wealth management, retirement planning, college planning, estate planning and more.

"There is almost an overabundance of people that need help and I'm very passionate about helping our own community," Alpert said.

After a nearly two-decade career with Merrill Lynch, Alpert decided to start her own firm.

"I hope to be a center for people to feel heard and have a blueprint for their financial future," she said.
