Harder was first elected to Congress in 2018 in California’s 10th district. The Turlock-born Representative then was elected to the 9th district seat following redistricting in 2020.

In the 2020 race, Harder defeated Rep. Jeff Denham (R) with 54.8% of the vote.

Lincoln, who was born in Stockton, entered politics in 2020, unseating then-mayor Michael Tubbs. The current mayor first announced his candidacy for the Congress in July 2023.

Prior to his political career, Lincoln received a master’s degree in executive leadership and spent time in Silicon Valley. He’s also worked as a pastor at a church in Stockton.
