Johnson City Plato’s Closet to host ‘Take What You Need’ event

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – Plato’s Closet in Johnson City is inviting the community to its ‘Take What You Need Event’ outside its storefront on Saturday, according to a social media post.

The event will include items such as tees, jeans, shorts, jackets, sweaters and tanks.

The rules for the one-day event, according to the post, are as follows:

TEDxJohnsonCity 2024 speakers announced

• 10-item limit per adult

• All clothing items taken from this event must stay outside the store

• The event will start when the store opens at 10 a.m.

“We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend!” the staff at Plato’s Closet of Johnson City said in the post.
