Johnson City man accused of pointing gun at woman, shooting at her phone

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – Johnson City police arrested a man who allegedly assaulted a woman and shot at her phone.

According to the Johnson City Police Department (JCPD), officers were called to a domestic disturbance on Dyer Street around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

An investigation determined Quincy Killen of Johnson City had pointed a gun at a woman and assaulted her, police report.

The JCPD stated in a news release that Killen, 22, took the woman’s cell phone and shot at it. He then reportedly left the scene before police arrived.

Police located Killen shortly before 6:30 p.m. and arrested him. He was charged with aggravated assault, felony reckless endangerment, misdemeanor vandalism and interference with emergency calls.

Killen was transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
