Was Johnny Depp Behind Brangelina Split? Biographer Says Jolie Has Crush on 'Pirates' Star
This secret Malibu hideaway may be the latest evidence that Angelina Jolie has been preparing to part ways with Brad Pitt for quite some time.
Inside the home, which includes a pool and costs a reported $95,000 a month, are five bedrooms and a spacious war room where the Maleficent actress is said to be strategizing her custody battle with Pitt.

Her new home is in a very secluded gated neighborhood in Malibu favored by stars who value privacy. Neighbors include Sean Penn, Julia Roberts and Matthew McConaughey. Jolie rented the house fully furnished about a month ago, suggesting that her divorce filing has been a long time coming.
Andrew Morton, author of Angelina: An Unauthorized Biography, told Inside Edition: “The latest word is that Angelina’s deleted Brad from her mobile phone as a sign of how much he's been frozen out.”
He says that the actresses’ brother, James, who helps her care for her five children, is trying to save the marriage.
“I'm hearing that Jamie, Angie’s brother is making quiet attempts to effect a reconciliation,” Morton said. “He's the one man on the planet who has her trust, her complete trust.”
He says the Salt actress wanted to have an open marriage and has had a secret crush on another Hollywood superstar for years.
“Members of her family and friends have said she has always had a crush on Johnny Depp, so watch this space if she and Johnny Depp get together in the future,” Morton claims.
Both Jolie and Depp starred together in 2010’s Golden Globe nominated film, The Tourist.
Pitt is said to be in "agony” over the split.
