Johnny Depp's $650 million fortune is almost all gone, according to a new profile in Rolling Stone.

His films have grossed roughly $3.6 billion worldwide, but Depp is currently knee-deep in a legal wrangle with his management over what exactly happened to all of his cash.

Depp alleges that The Management Group spent his money without his knowledge, while a countersuit by TMG says that Depp compulsively spends roughly $2 million per month.

That does sound more than plausible for a man who once defended buying 15,000 cotton wool balls a day. In the profile, Depp says that it's "insulting to say that I spent $30,000 on wine," because, "it was far more" and insists the reports which said he paid $3 million to have Hunter S Thompson's ashes fired into the sky from a cannon were wrong: "It was $5 million."

One of the other slightly surprising revelations in the piece is that Depp had a planned a means of capturing Osama Bin Laden.

"You get a bunch of fucking planes, big fucking planes that spray shit, and you drop LSD 25. You saturate the fucking place," he said. "Every single thing will walk out of their cave smiling, happy."
