John Stamos Congratulates Mary-Kate Olsen on Her Wedding by Posting an Embarrassing Throwback Photo, as Any Good Weird Uncle Would Do

Uncle Jesse is feeling nostalgic, dude.

As news of Mary-Kate Olsen’s wedding/great smokeout circulated, her former castmates from Full House wished her well, including a sentimental John Stamos. The follically-gifted actor, 52, posted a cute black-and-white photo in which he poses with both the bride and her sister, Ashley, back in their glory days (aka the ‘80s).

“In the blink of an eye,” Stamos wrote. “Congrats MK. X.”

The photo is a classic — the actor sandwiched by the twins, who look to be about 3 or 4 years old. But you know that now they’re award-winning designers, M-K and Ashley are cringing over the plastic Mickey Mouse sunglasses, oversized Disneyland button, and that floral shirt.

As for that flannel, we’re sure that would get a thumbs up — for obvious reasons.

Stamos isn’t the only cast member from the iconic show who gave M-K a shout out on her recent wedding to Olivier Sarkozy. Bob Saget, who played their dad, and Dave Coulier, who was Uncle Joey, both offered congratulations.

Stamos’s Olsen love officially puts to rest rumors of a feud between him and the sisters for not participating in the Netflix reboot of the show, Fuller House. While he initially seemed ticked by their decision, he later clarified that he understood, saying on the Today show in September, “They have big lives. They haven’t acted in a while,” and adding, "They’re fully welcome anytime. I love them.”

And it shows.
