John Lloyd Cruz: I am single
4 Apr - Yes, John Lloyd Cruz is back to being single and doesn't need to set the record straight, at least not according to him, Rappler News reported.
The actor, who attended the press launch of Western Union last week as its newest global ambassador, stated that nothing has changed since he and former girlfriend Angelica Panganiban called it quits.
"Life is too short. At my age, why should I still hide it? It's embarrassing if I still deny it," he said.
The actor also stated that there is no need for him to clarify the situation between him and Bea Alonzo, his onscreen partner, whose separation from boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo was reported prior to his own breakup.
"We don't need to talk about it. Because for those who are involved, we know the truth and more often than not, we're satisfied to know the truth ourselves," he said.
The actor stressed that he is still the same, and that other things written about him were just mere speculations.
