John Cena took to the stage at the Oscars with little but an envelope to preserve his modest, in a throwback to the moment 50 years ago when a streaker ran across the stage on Hollywood’s big night.

“Costumes,” Cena said as the audience laughed, “are so important.”

Video by Chris Gardner shows production assistants rushing on stage to get Cena into a robe as the nominees for the costume design award were read out.
