Johan As'ari denies real life romance with Wan Sharmila

14 Nov – Johan As'ari rubbishes off rumours linking him with actress Wan Sharmila and had explained that it was merely a deliberate on-set romance with the actress for the series "Jejak Karmila".
The duo play the role of a husband and wife in the drama series and according to Johan the 'on-set romance' can help them both portray their characters better.
Talking to BH Online, the "Juvana" actor said, "It is true that we are going through an 'on-set love' but don't be quick to assume that we are bringing it out of set. It is temporal and only inside the set. In fact, it was only for three days to be exact."
"If rumours are suggesting that we are really in love then we are doing the character right. After the shoot, I and Wan Sharmila went out only once for a drink and even then we had few friends along with us," added the 29-year-old.
At the same time, Johan also pointed out that he is not quick to react to gossip as he is used to such things. He also firmly stated that at this moment he is only thinking of his career and not his love life.
Adding to that, he said he left the decision to God to pick for him a suiting life partner.
Meanwhile, he also expressed his excitement in hearing that three of the series he acted in are being nominated at the Anugerah Skrin 2016 (ASK2016).
"Anak Ibu Buangan Ibu", "Hujan Malam Itu" and Lafaznya Aaminn" were all nominated for the awards which will be held on 18 November 2016.
"It is an honour to be nominated for such a prestigious award," added Johan.
