Former Vice President Joe Biden shared some of his favorite memes poking fun at his bromance with Barack Obama in a recent interview, saying, "in essence, they're all true."

I feel good about it, Biden said to NBC News about the memes. "All those memes, there are thousands of them out there, in essence, they're all true. We had that kind of relationship."

"My granddaughters and his daughters are each other's best friends. They vacation together. You know, it's family," he continued, referring to the Obamas.

He also added that one of his favorite memes, among thousands that have flooded social media since last year, involved Obama, President Trump and fake birth certificates.

The politician was referring to a meme of him holding Obama's shoulder and telling him to hide a fake birth certificate in a drawer in the White House -- a reference to the "birther" crusade Trump publicly pursued about a fake conspiracy theory that Obama was not born in the United States.

"A couple of ones I liked were ones where I was trying on Ray Bans and he's lying on the couch and I turn around and I said, 'Which ones do you like' And he looks at me and says, 'Joe, Joe, come on, focus here,'" Biden said.

The former vice president also laughed at a meme in which Obama said, "Wave at the people, Joe," but Biden responded, "IMMA POINT AT EM" despite Obama again telling him to "please just wave."

In an earlier interview released this week, Biden also expressed an openness towards running for president in 2020, but he said he is not sure it's the "appropriate" thing for him to do.
