Jodi Sta. Maria to replace Kris Aquino for MMFF
15 Oct - With Kris Aquino's withdrawal from the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, "All You Need is Pag-ibig" (translated as "All You Need is Love"), it was revealed that Jodi Sta. Maria have been cast as her replacement.
According to Philstar news, the 33-year-old actress will be paired up with her "Be Careful With My Heart" partner, Richard Yap, who will also be replacing the original choice, Herbert Bautista.
Although Star Cinema has yet to make an announcement about the replacements, Yap dropped a hint on Instagram back on 12 October, saying that he will be working with Sta. Maria again soon.
The onscreen couple made waves circa 2012-2014 through their hit TV series, "Be Careful With My Heart", which tells the story of a temporary nanny falling in love with her wealthy widower employer.
They were previously scheduled to be part of the 2013 MMFF with a movie adaptation of the series, but the project had to be cancelled due to their hectic schedule.
