Employment Specialist Coordinator

Job description:  The incumbent in this position will primarily be responsible for the supervision and coordination of all Job Coaches and Employment Specialist (currently 2 locations: Longview, South (Loop). This individual will maintain oversight of staff ensuring close contact with clients during job training and placement to resolve problems and evaluate placement adequacy; perform intake and coordinate situation assessments for consumers; coordinate job readiness and placement for persons coping with personal, social and vocational difficulties; communicate with business partners to maintain employment for consumers; verify/proofread documents/records as it pertains to benchmarks, Job Coach notes, and CCSA’s, etc.; monitor credentialing of staff; ensure all billing is submitted timely and proofread from all Job Coaches and Employment Specialists; conduct job interviews.

Minimum Qualifications:  Qualified individuals must have a high school diploma or GED; in addition to a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S) in a related field of study (rehabilitation, business, marketing, or a related human services field (a Master’s degree is a plus); four years related experience, two of which included supervision of staff. A valid TXDL/driving record acceptable to agency liability carrier is required for this position; ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Pay is $19.00 – $29.64 an hour with paid time off
