Joakim Noah's beard appears to be blonde—and we have a lot of questions about it

If you're a New York Knicks fan, you probably won't find the below video of Joakim Noah hiking in the woods as entertaining and frightening as us. Just as a reminder, the power forward signed a four-year, $72 million contract in the summer of 2016—one of the many failings of the Phil Jackson regime in the Big Apple.

Considering the fact Noah only played a combined 40 minutes of basketball for the Knicks this year, this Earth Day he posted over the weekend won't amuse many Knicks fans. But the rest of us can be entertained by it.

First of all, Noah's beard is the obvious place to start here. We can't remember the last time we saw somebody with a blonde beard. But some quick Googling around has revealed that this is an apparent trend in the style world. Forgive us for being behind on the times. We're glad Noah is reading his GQ magazines. We suppose he has enough time to do so, given he has played in so few games over the past years. And remember, he is making in the ballpark of $18 million for the 2017-2018 season (sorry Knicks fans ... we couldn't help but throw one more zinger in there).

The comments under Noah's Instagram are pretty brutal. But you have to expect that when you're getting paid all that money, and then look as if you're more ready for a Survivor audition than playing in an NBA game.

Noah has always been somewhat of an atypical NBA player. But this video might be the weirdest thing you watch all day. We're sorry for giving you nightmares. But imagine being a Knicks fan!
