Jimmy Fallon mocks Trump with fake Oscar movie reviews

We know Donald Trump likes Finding Dory, but what does he think about some of the Oscar-nominated films? Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon channeled the president by predicting what he might say in tweet-worthy reviews of some of this year’s awards contenders.

On Fences, starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis: “Should’ve been called ‘Walls.'”

On Lion, starring Dev Patel: “I thought a movie called ‘Lion’ would be about CNN. #FAKENEWSREALPUN.”

On Hell or High Water, starring Chris Pine and Ben Foster: “Thanks to my climate plan — we can have BOTH!”

On Jackie, starring Natalie Portman: “A First Lady who actually lives in the White House? FAKE!”

Check out the reviews in the video below, starting at the 3:10 mark.

During his opening monologue on Friday, Fallon also imagined what a Trump-approved commercial for The New York Times might look like. As you might expect, it involves a lot of exclamations, like “Wrong!” and “Fake news!”

The Tonight Show airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.
