Jessica Alba announces the sex of her baby on 'The Tonight Show'

On The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon was trying to help Jessica Alba come up with a name for her new baby. "Now, last time I was trying to come up with names for the baby, do you remember that?" asked Fallon, who also noted that Alba's two children, Honor and Haven, both start with an "H" and are a word. Fallon's first name suggestion for Alba's new baby was "Hermit", because he said that "Hermit Warren" sounded like a cool author. Alba was definitely not feeling it, though. So, the late night host went on, brainstorming, "Hardy, Hale. Hale and Hardy?", suggested a hysterical Fallon. "Hale and Hardy Warren, and then I had Wee Willie Warren. I thought that would be really cute." And Alba just responded, "That's terrible." Aside from the trend of his suggestions just being totally awful, there was one other trend. They were all names of the same gender. It was then that Alba decided to go ahead and let the cat out of the bag, as she revealed, "So, I mean, based off of the theme, I haven't really revealed a gender, but I'm having a boy." Jessica later shared the news that same day to her Instagram, writing "Cash and I couldn't be more thrilled to announce…", but it was weirdly coincidental how Jimmy didn't know the gender prior to only brainstorming boy names. When asked if her husband Cash Warren is excited, Alba shared, "Yeah, he was like we should name it dick with a silent 'H'. I'm like, 'No.'" And after revealing the sweet news on the show, Jimmy had the perfect sweet surprise to go with it- his new personalized Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor, which he had on hand for Alba to taste test.
