'Jersey Shore' star Deena Cortese is expecting a meatball of her own
Deena Cortese is going to be a mama.
The 31-year-old Jersey Shore housemate announced Monday on social media that she and her husband of eight months, Christopher Buckner, are expecting a baby boy. Cortese said in the reveal that she is in her second trimester. They noted in a prop sign that their “little firecracker” is due to arrive in December.

Cortese shared several photos that show her and Buckner, whom she began dating in 2011, proudly holding up a sonogram of the baby, a bunch of baby-blue balloons, and a couple of tiny onesies. Their dog joined them in the photos that accompanied the announcement.
It was just three months ago that Cortese said she had “baby fever.”
“We plan on starting to try. We’re trying!” she told Us Weekly at the premiere of the Jersey Shore reunion series, Jersey Shore Family Vacation. “I’m very excited. He wants to have three. I would be fine with two, but the more the merrier, right?”
At the time, Cortese said she hoped her little one could have playdates with the children of co-stars Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.
