Jersey Fouls of the Week: Crothlisberger in Pittsburgh; Saad panda in Chicago
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and Pittsburgh Penguins forward Sidney Crosby are local sporting icons in the Steel City.
They led their teams to championships and helped usher in periods of success for both organizations. The above fouler decided to honor them on one jersey. Thanks to Bryan Horowitz, who posted this on Twitter. This brings back memories of the Larry Walker, Patrick Roy foul we have seen many times.
This week we many fouls from all over the hockey world. We had a Brandon Saad foul in Chicago and what appeared to be a Miikka Salomaki foul in Nashville. Also, don’t forget the ‘Your Name’ foul from earlier in the week, which was quite comical. Overall we received a solid group of submissions.
If you want to submit, make sure to email us at puckdaddyblog@yahoo.com or tweet to the hashtag #jerseyfoul. We’ll pick them up, and try to make sure to give credit where credit is due. If you want to see more fouls, check out our Tumblr page!
