Jerry Brown Won't Let a Little Cancer Slow Him Down

California Gov. Jerry Brown has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, but he doesn't plan on letting it stop him from doing his job. Not even while he's getting radiotherapy. Brown is going to receive treatment for his prostate cancer this month, and his doctor is assuring everyone there's nothing to worry about. His cancer is localized and treatable. "The prognosis is excellent, and there are not expected to be any significant side effects," his doctor said. It should be noted that Brown did have a cancerous growth removed from his nose last year. Brown's treatment will go until January 7, but Brown has plans to work full time as if nothing is happening.
