The leader of the opposition met up with the former TOWIE star at a pro-EU rally in Bristol for a new episode of his upcoming Educating Joey Essex series, and the politician shared several Snaps of their discussion.

One picture of the pair featured them deep in conversation with the words “Joey Essex” written over the top of the picture and a crying with laughter emoji under the name.

The 66-year-old politician also tweeted about his meeting with the 25-year-old reality TV star, who was dressed down in a hoodie and beanie hat for their chat, and joked he might even take some fashion advice from the hunk.

He tweeted: “Had to decline @JoeyEssex_’s kind offer to go clubbing in Essex but I might take him up on the fashion tips… (sic)”

Corbyn also revealed the pair discussed the upcoming EU referendum - which take place on June 23, four days after the star’s latest Educating Joey Essex programme has aired - and tuition fees.

He tweeted: “@JoeyEssex_ came to EU #InCrowd rally in Bristol & we spoke about everything from the #EUreferendum to tuition fees (sic)”

Ahead of the 2015 General Election, Joey met up with Nigel Farage and Nick Clegg for another instalment of his Educating Joey Essex show.
