Jeremy Allen White might have lined up his next movie project.

The actor, who recently appeared in the film The Iron Claw alongside Zac Efron, is being highly sought after to play Bruce Springsteen, according to Deadline.

The project in question will be titled Deliver Me From Nowhere and will focus on the creation of his 1982 album Nebraska, often considered his best work.

This was the era when he was becoming a top-tier megastar and working hard on what would eventually become his biggest album Born in the USA.

However, Springsteen was struggling with the fame at the time, as well as experiencing depression, so decided to record some more personal songs in solitude to work through his emotions. That eventually led to the incredibly raw and personal Nebraska.

Allen White is reportedly producer Scott Stuber (the former chairman of Netflix Films) and studio A24's current top choice, but is a little busy right now as he's currently filming The Bear season 4 until June. Negotiations reportedly haven't begun yet, but if Allen White takes the role, it's expected he may shoot in the fall in New Jersey.

Springsteen and his manager Jon Landau are also onboard with the movie and will be involved in the making.

Allen White's The Iron Claw didn't get a lot of attention at the award ceremonies this year, but he isn't that bothered by it, since it's not really in his control.

"You never know what's gonna click with the masses," he said (via Deadline). "You never really know what people are going to be taken with, and I know that and so it's okay for me.

"But also, I think The Iron Claw has done really well. I'm really proud of it. A lot of people came out to see it, and so I'm happy about that as well."

The Bear season 3 will come to Disney+ later this year, while season 1 and 2 are available to stream now.
