Jennifer Lopez recently turned up cruising in a low rider in rising star Becky G's music video for "Becky from the Block," and the superstar explained why she made the cameo.
"I heard it and I was like, 'Oh, that's so cute.' It was really adorable," Jennifer told Access Hollywood of appearing in the video for the song which is a homage to her own tune -- "Jenny from the Block."
"Supporting another little Latina artist, for me, is a pleasure," she added.
Jennifer is making headlines for another reason too, serving as an executive producer for the ABC Family series "The Fosters," about a lesbian couple raising a blended family.
"I think it's just reflective of the world today," Jennifer told Access of having lesbian parents as the central couple in the series.
Jennifer said above all, the show is about love.
"The main thing was family equals love," she said. "Family equals a place where you feel secure and accepted."
"The Fosters" premieres June 3 at 9/8c on ABC Family.
