Jennifer Lopez’s twins made a surprise appearance on “Ellen,” and totally stole the show

Jennifer Lopez stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week, and while Ellen was (naturally!) dying to hear about her new romance and first date with boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, it was J.Lo’s twins who stole the show, making a surprise appearance while letting mom slightly off the hook about her hot new relationship with the baseball legend.

J.Lo brought her 9-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with her to the set, and Ellen was so thrilled, she wanted them to come onstage and join in for the interview. There was plenty of juicy stuff for Jennifer to talk about, from her new love to her upcoming World of Dance series, but it was Max and Emme who stole the show and our hearts in one fell swoop.

Emme was happy to enjoy the spotlight, coming out in an adorable sparkly frock, with Jennifer saying that Emme is her “mini-me,” but Max was quite a bit more reserved. He reluctantly joined his mom, giving quite a bit of 9-year-old sass, before jumping into a box to be interviewed from there. Jennifer quipped: “This is the quietest he’s been in nine years.”

Ellen asked Emme about who she texts, learning that she texts her cousin in New York and Aunt Lynda, while Max whispered from the box that he texts, too. (So cute!) When Ellen asked Emme if she was a musician like her mom, Max called out from the box, “I’m a gamer!” while Emme giggled at her silly brother’s antics.

Of course, the audience was dying to hear about J.Lo and A.Rod, but nothing could be cuter than seeing J.Lo in mommy mode with Max and Emme. More of this, please!
