Jennifer Garner knows you've been making jokes about her ginormous scarf

Jennifer Garner is letting her love for big scarves — and her daughter — rule.

The Camping star, 46, found herself the target of light-hearted internet chatter earlier this week after she stepped out wearing an gigantic scarf. The oversized, colorful accessory was draped over her shoulders and covered much of her body, though you could see her workout pants, as she walked and talked with a friend — apparently while doing the school run.

Quickly, comparisons were drawn to the massive scarf Lenny Kravitz rocked back in ’12, and suddenly the lovable star was dubbed “the new giant-a** scarf qwing” by Buzzfeed, which noted that Kravitz was “shaking” over the development. Folks on the internet also had funny comments about Garner (they save the negative stuff for Ben Affleck).

On Friday, Garner made it clear, in her trademark adorable way, she knew she was been talked about. She posted a photo and explained the origins of the whopping 12-foot long scarf, saying it was a birthday present from daughter Seraphina Affleck. The proud mama, whose birthday was April 17, added that she was happy to “werk” it.

Garner is a pure delight online — whether it’s her pretend cooking show, the marching band uniform she wore to wish Reese Witherspoon a happy birthday, cleaning out her purse, or the incident now known simply as hot pepper-gate. And this isn’t the first time she let her followers know that she’s hip to to the social conversations about her. When footage of her at the Oscars was turned into a meme and went viral, she humorously offered her own guesses as to what she was thinking.
