Jennifer Aniston walks the red carpet while ex Justin Theroux fuels new romance rumours

Jennifer Aniston looked happy and relaxed as she attended WE Day California on Thursday. The event marks her first public appearance since announcing her separation from husband of two years, Justin Theroux, in January.

The 49-year-old is still sporting a wrist brace that was first seen as she entered Gwyneth Paltrow’s engagement party last Saturday. While Aniston didn’t address her injury, she posed for photos looking laid back in rolled-up jeans, white platform sneakers and a blazer.

Across the country, her estranged husband, Justin Theroux has been making headlines for a rumoured new romance with a much younger woman.

Forty six-year-old Theroux has been spotted around New York City with several mystery women, the most recent being model Erika Cardenas, who is 20 years his junior.

According to a source, Theroux and Cardenas met at the gym and are currently “just friends.” The two were recently photographed together grabbing coffee and strolling around the city.

Not much is known about Cardenas, who according to her Instagram account, currently divides her time between New York City and New Jersey.

While the cause of Aniston and Theroux’s split still remains unknown, some have speculated their lifestyles are to blame. Despite being a NYC native, Aniston reportedly prefers to spend her time on the west coast in her Bel Air home and go through great lengths of time without living in the same city.

“During his relationship with Jen, Justin’s life in N.Y.C. was always very different from his L.A. life,’ a source recently revealed to People magazine. “In N.Y.C., he acted more like a single guy. He went out with his single friends and sometimes would have very little contact with Jen for days.”

A source has revealed Theroux is doing his best to move on in a “really healthy way” since the split saying, “He’s making a point to get out every day and to see friends. He’s been dining with friends regularly.”
