Jennie Garth's Instagram feed hinted at relationship trouble

We’ve been rooting on Jennie Garth’s love life ever since Kelly was caught between Brandon and Dylan. Now, as news comes about a “rocky patch” she’s going through with third husband Dave Abrams — one that has them spending “time apart” — we can’t say she hasn’t already dropped some hints.

The Beverly Hills 90210 alum’s recent Instagram posts suggest she’s a woman who has been doing some soul-searching and is reminding herself — and her 283,000 followers — to be strong. Let’s start with the “resilience” necklace given to her by a friend just days ago.

“Resilience means the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties,” she captioned the shot. “But it doesn’t mean we’ll never experience sadness. It proves we’re able to spring back into shape after struggle has pushed us further than we ever imagined we could go. Resilience allows us to overcome and bounce back from heartache stronger and more flexible than before. I am resilient You are resilient.”

Just prior to that, Garth had “unconditional love” on her mind. “Spend your time on those who love you unconditionally,” read the quote she shared. “Don’t waste it on those who only love you when the conditions are right for them.”

Another shared post suggested that the Winnebago lover didn’t know exactly where life was taking her. “Where does this road lead?” she asked.

Garth reminded her followers (and maybe herself) that strong women are the best women…

…and that “the secret to having it all is knowing that you already do.”

Here, she wondered “what’s next?” in life.

She also shared a photo of roses from a friend, which she noted “somehow make things feel better.”

On Tuesday, Us Weekly broke the news, with a confirmation from Garth’s rep, that the actress and restaurateur/actor, who married in 2015, are taking time apart and working on their marriage. “The pair is not legally separated and have not filed any legal paperwork,” says the report.

Soon after, People magazine ran a similar story about the pair “going through a rocky patch.” Again, it was noted that they don’t plan to divorce. And Entertainment Tonight‘s offering is that they’re “still trying to make it work, but they haven’t been living together. They love each other, but like every marriage, it takes work. Jennie is taking the time to focus on her girls and herself.”

Those girls are Garth’s three daughters — Luca, 20, Lola, 14, and Fiona, 11 — with her second husband, Peter Facinelli. She was also briefly married in the early ’90s to musician Daniel B. Clark.
