Jenna Dewan Tatum Jokes About Trying On Channing Tatum's Splash Costume in a Hilarious Throwback

It looks like Channing Tatum isn't the only mermaid in the family. A few days after news broke that her husband would be taking on the role originally played by Darryl Hannah in the Disney reboot of Splash, Jenna Dewan Tatum took to Instagram with a bit of evidence that she and their daughter Everly were the original mermaids in the Tatum household.
"That time I was trying on @channingtatum's costume for Splash and everyone thought I was announcing a pregnancy #tbt" Dewan Tatum wrote alongside a throwback snap of herself modeling a mermaid tail with her and now-3-year-old Everly (also in purple mermaid garb) in the background.
The photo was originally posted by Tatum nearly eight months ago--long before there was any public talk of him getting his merman on in a Splash remake. Given the recent developments, Dewan Tatum found the perfect way to utilize the funny old photo to poke a little fun at the situation.
