This year’s Central Illinois nominees included Kirsten Davin, Jenette Jurczyk, Angel Johnson, and Christina Sanantonio. They were joined by family and friends to recognize the contributions each of them has made to their communities.

Earlier this year, a committee of six people from different WCIA departments reviewed and scored the 200 nominations that viewers submitted.

This year’s WCIA Remarkable Women winner was Jenette Jurczyk. She is the National Director of the “That’s What She Said” project and the founder of The Family Room in Champaign County.
