Jello shot challenge coming to Baton Rouge, help raise money for local food bank

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Rocco’s Pizza & Cantina will be heading to Baton Rouge this weekend for Fred’s 42nd Annual Graduation Party.

Rocco’s Pizza & Cantina, known for its jello shot challenge held during the Men’s College World Series, will be in Baton Rouge from Thursday to Saturday at Fred’s Bar & Grill.

According to an Instagram post from Fred’s Bar, Rocco’s Pizza & Cantina will bring 2,000 Jello shots to help raise money for the Baton Rouge Food Bank.

Throughout the 2023 Men’s College World Series, LSU fans showed out in Omaha, Nebraska to break the CWS Jello Shot Challenge record. With the help of Raising Cane’s founder Todd Graves and Baton Rouge attorney Gordon McKernan, LSU fans purchased 68,888 Jello shots during last year’s national championship.

Baton Rouge restaurant to get national recognition for small business success

The record was previously held by Ole Miss with 18,777 jello shots.

Fred’s Bar and Grill is located at 1184 Bob Petit Blvd.
