Jeff Goldblum's new gig involves sausages

Jurassic Park fans rejoiced at the news Wednesday that Jeff Goldblum, who played Dr. Ian Malcolm in both Jurassic Park (1993) and its 1997 sequel The Lost World, would once again be part of the franchise. Now, fans are rejoicing for a very different, albeit tasty reason.

As part of a promotion for a yet-to-be-revealed project, Goldblum has been manning a Chef Goldblum’s food truck in Sydney, Australia, giving passersby free sausages and selfies. So what exactly is this project? Is Goldblum looking to be the next Anthony Bourdain, or judge another televised cooking competition? (Well, he admitted that he didn’t exactly help with said sausages, aside from delivering them, so maybe not.)

About the project, Goldblum told Triple M, “It’s kind of a secret, it’s a mystery that I can’t divulge, but I’m filming something here that has something to do with food.”

Goldblum can also be seen as Grandmaster in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok, out November 3.

Take a look at some pictures of Goldblum in his new domain below.
