Jeff Brohm appears to be coming home to Louisville football. How players, fans are reacting

A Twitter account was created in September with one mission: Bring Jeff Brohm home to replace Scott Satterfield as Louisville's head football coach.

That didn't appear likely when Satterfield led the Cardinals to the program's first winning season since 2019 and a second consecutive bowl appearance. Then, on Monday morning, he left the program to fill a head-coaching vacancy at Cincinnati, opening the door for Brohm's potential return to his home town.

Two days later, a deal to make that happen is all but done. ESPN's Chris Low reported Wednesday morning that Brohm and U of L are "in the process of finalizing" a six-year deal in the range of $35 million.

How did the Twitter user behind @BringBrohmHome react to the news? By changing the account's name to "BROUGHT BROHM HOME."
