'Jedi babies' do battle for last cupcake in the galaxy
"Star Wars" fans were dusting off their light sabers earlier this week after Walt Disney Pictures revealed the title of the iconic franchise's seventh episode — "The Force Awakens" — and said the filming of the first film in J.J. Abrams' much-anticipated new trilogy was complete.
But you don’t have to be a "Star Wars" fan to appreciate this adorable video of two "Jedi babies" battling it out for a cupcake.
Oscar Rene, a California-based filmmaker, shot the short film ("Jedi Babies - Crib Wars Episode I: The Baby Menace") featuring the saber-toting tots — a tiny Darth Vader and little Princess Leia — in a duel for the last cupcake in the galaxy, er, kitchen.
Violette Marquez, who plays Princess Leia, appeared in another of Rene's spoofs — "Superbaby Saves the Day" — helping a damsel in distress on the streets of Los Angeles.
