Japanese daughter and father duo go viral with their cosplay

A Japanese father and daughter have gone viral on social media after posting photos of themselves in cosplay.

Fumi, who first shared images of her and her father on Twitter, is a content creator with 130,000 followers on Instagram, 250,000 subscribers on YouTube, 650,000 followers on TikTok and 158,000 followers on Twitter.

This marks the first time Fumi’s father joined her in an edgy photoshoot series.

In one of the images uploaded to Twitter, Fumi and her father wield katanas while wearing black and white. In one of the other pictures, they portray demons with red eyes and horns.

Fumi started uploading their photos in late February, with each post receiving overwhelmingly positive responses.

“This is the first time I’ve become so hyped, so I have no idea how to thank everyone,” Fumi wrote in one post.

Needless to say, the pair’s photos show they can rock virtually any ensemble with attitude.

Social media users have even showered Fumi and her dad with supportive messages.

“Fumi-chan, your dad is cute,” one Instagram user gushed.

A Twitter user wrote: “Japanese-style yakuza father and young lady shooting cool … I really like it.”

Meanwhile, a TikTok user declared, “Now that’s a family.”
