Jamie Dornan to play twins in new crime series for Netflix
Jamie Dornan will double up for Netflix as he's set to play identical twins in upcoming crime drama The Undertow.
The English-language adaptation of Norwegian series Twin, The Undertow sees the Belfast star portray twins Adam and Lee, while Mackenzie Davis (Station Eleven) plays Adam's wife Nicola, trapped in a loveless marriage.
The crime noir hints a dramatic turn in store for Nicola when Adam's long-estranged twin Lee, who's also her ex, returns.

"A split-second decision and a terrible accident drives Nicola to protect her children, and over the course of one week, Lee and Nicola are forced together, struggling to maintain a web of secrets and lies," the logline teases.
"Though they can't ignore their feelings for each other, they both know they're living on borrowed time."
Alongside Dornan, who also executive produces, and Davis, the new series features Iain de Caestecker (The Winter King) and Gary Lewis (Vigil).
Meanwhile, the original Norwegian drama that serves as the inspiration for The Undertow premiered in 2019 and starred Game of Thrones' Kristofer Hivju as twins Erik and Adam.

Set to come to the streaming service sometime in 2025, The Undertow is expected to start production this year, as confirmed by Netflix on its official Twitter/X account.
"Jamie Dornan will play the roles of identical twins (yes – TWO JAMIE DORNANS!!) and Mackenzie Davis will play his wife in this new crime noir series which goes into production in this year!" the post reads.
Netflix gave the announcement today (March 14) as part of the platform's upcoming slate of originals, which includes a brand-new season of Black Mirror and reality TV programme Bear Hunt with Bear Grylls and hosted by Holly Willoughby.
